The
lower Spokane River carves its way through
a steep, forested river valley, gliding
between civilization and spectacular
volcanic rock formations. These rock formations
make the lower Spokane River “one
of the most interesting class III rapids
in the state.”
Leave
the city behind as you dash through
the wet and wild “Bowl and Pitcher” and
the big wave fun of the “Devil’s
Toenail.” Like the Upper
Spokane, the Lower Spokane through
Riverside State Park is a great
introduction to rafting with just
a few bigger rapids then the Upper
Stretch described below.
The Spokane River
Whitewater trip is perfect for beginners
and young children who have never run a
river before. Your guides are highly qualified
river runners who have years of experience
and hours of training on the river. Not
only are they safest guides on the river,
they are the "FUNNEST" guides on the river
too. Squirt guns and boat games are standard
on every trip.
The Spokane River
will thrill and delight visitors and residents
alike. After years of running the Spokane
River, we still love its beauty and mesmerizing
water.
Although
the season for good whitewater
is relatively short, there is still great
whitewater through September on the Clark
Fork River, an easy interstate drive from
Spokane. Click HERE for

Fork River

The
Bowl and Pitcher is by far the best whitewater
run on the Spokane River, but sometimes
on certain occasions we like to run the
Upper Spokane River in Spokane Valley and
Liberty Lake. The river, hidden behind
a thriving urban market place, roams freely
and unhindered beside a beautiful stretch
of the Centennial Trail. The Upper Spokane
river is a splashy, fun dance through scattered
class II whitewater. Despite its urban
setting, the river's subtle power renders
the city unnoticeable as you drift and
play along the Spokane River. This trip
is perfect for all ages and abilities and
makes for a great group float, team building
trip or special occasion trip.
