Bird Watching (April -

Birding Like You've Never Done Before!
The Spokane River is famous for the whitewater in
Riverside State Park, but little is mentioned about the more mellow and equally scenic stretch
of river just a few miles up-river from Riverside State Park.
Drift and Bird
Drift in the deep cool eddies inside our dry, steady rafts as you spot for birds in rich and
varying habitat along the banks. Our trips start early, 7:30 am, so dress warm and eat a good
breakfast as we take our time drifting down the Clark Fork River viewing for birds.
Perfect
Birding from a raft is one of the most ideal ways to bird. You can cover a lot of ground while
moving almost unnoticeable between constantly changing habitat.
What to Bring
You will be provided a life jacket and lunch, you bring warm clothes, binoculars, field guides
and Pangaea will provide everything else. Your guide rows, pulling over as much as you want while
you bird from the raft.

"This was our second trip with you guys. We all decided that this will be a yearly
outing for us. The more we talk about it, the more people who want to join us. You have outstanding and
very knowledgeable guides who know how to make it an experience to remember! Thank you so much for a
great way to end our summer!"
